3.0 to 3.4

Where do I start on doing this swap? I've got a 94 with 195,000. Head gaskets replaced at 189,000. Want to find a 3.4 and swap out soon. Anyone in arkansas that could help on where to find an engine and harness? Do you recommend buying a used one from pick n pull then tearing it down replacing all? Any advice would help thanks

Welcome to Yotatech! Try using the search function, there are many, many, many, MANY threads about doing this very thing. There's even an entire engine swap section of the forum.

Unpossible swap. You'd be the first.

Find a wrecked vehicle and buy it. You can sell the excess parts. I made a profit of the runner I bought for my swap. Do not try to piece it together by buying separate parts in my opinion, especially since your knowledge of this seemingly is about zero.....no offense.

Read the threads above. You can also read mine in my signature. I started with zero knowledge and had to learn quick when my 3.0 spun a rod bearing. I read for months and then thought I had a handle on things......then the real work started and I realized I knew about 10% of what i thought I did.

I have two under my belt now and still don't know everything.......but I can get it done.

Like anything else, the majority of the work is in the research.
