2wd starter vs. 4wd starter

is the starter on a 2wd and 4wd pickup the same? the flywheel on the 2wd is smaller and i put my old starter from the 4wd on there just wonderin if itll work

It should work I have interchanged starters between Celicas and 4x4 vehicles

Easy way to check go on line and compare the part numbers at Napa autozone who ever

Pretty sure Toyota used the same 1.4kW starter on all 22R(E/ET)s, regardless of 4x2 or 4x4.

thanks guys. just started it up today for the first time since i swapped the engine. worked perfectly
