During the big snow storm my rear wiper was going and it just snapped off. Im guessing due to the extreme cold temperatures. The only parts left of the rear wiper is the arm and the piece that has two screws in it that makes the wiper lift off the window, into its little spot underneath the stupid 4runner "spoiler". And one of the screws is missing from that piece now.

Anyways, I went to NAPA and Schucks trying to find a replacement wiper blade. In the past I have been able to find one that sort of fit, but it sucked balls when wiping and needed help getting it in the little spot when not wiping. Now I cant find one that fits at all.

Does anyone know where I can find a direct OEM part that replaces everything there except for the wiper arm?

The only option I can come up with for a specialized part like that is the dealer... or a wrecker...

 

Uhh.....I remember seeing a post in the past about rear wipers. I dont know if it has your answer in it, but alot of questions were answered.

Search for "rear wiper" or something like that. Its in this area (86-95 trucks and 4runners)

 

thats what I was thinking... except that there isn't a wrecker within 500 miles from here that even has a 4runner in it. i guess yota's just go on forever

i really dont want to buy it from toyota though, big rip off anyone else have any suggestions?

just go to any toyota dealer and talk to the guy at the parts desk. The OEM rear wiper is only $18 CDN and im sure the other small parts you need wont be all that expensive either.
