I have a 22re thats been sitting in my garage for about 2 years. i believe that it threw a rod bearing. so im trying to round up some parts to do a complete rebuild this summer. i plan on taking the head and block to a machine shop to get bored and decked and everything. everybody is cheap these days so i wanted to know what would be the best bang for my buck on parts. id like to get the engnbldr 268 cam, new EFI and a new wiring harness. any suggestions? anything else i should replace other than the obvious gaskets, timing chain.......?
