Right now i have some brand of after market muffler it looks like the exhaust is 1.25-1.50 from the cat back. It's loud and annoying on longer road trips so it's time for it to go. Is there anything on the market that is quiet and sounds like a regular car but will show some kind on increase in performance? I also might just take it to the local muffler shop and have them put what ever they have in stock on that day.. Good idea or bad idea?? Would a free flowing cat be a bad idea with a quiet more restrictive muffler for any reason? I'm guessing not but just wanted to ask the question.
