Say its got 90 rwhp now
  • headers and full exhaust might add 10rwhp
  • intake alone <3hp (just enough to be noticeable)
  • OS valves and cam 15rwhp
  • aftermarket ignition 5 wrhp before it burns up

Maybe that nets you about 120 rwhp. Which is more than it sounds. RWHP doesn't tell you much about how it will feel to drive, torque would, but I can't say I've enough info to make those inferences.

I havent done any more than an intake any of this, I've just heard a lot of people say what works

On the subject of forced induction, 7psi boost on a 120hp engine would net about 175hp according to one pound of boost to hp gain calculator.

yup.
I'd expect maybe around 150-200 (possibly more) with it depending on other mods to the engine.

Of course there are methanol fueled 22RE dragsters that make 1000+hp, but that requires some mods.

if ur at a tire/mechanic shop its great since people are always going to need tires and stuff. so its recession-resilient. but, out of a naturally aspirated 22re, id say max maybe 150hp. MAX.

LC isn't the way to go, you'll find cheaper parts elseware. They are just way too overpriced

NOS is horrible. all it does is screw up your engine.

I agree, NOS is terrible. For any engine, but I thought I'd get it outta the way be4 some1 else brought it up, and with some rediculess(sp?) story 'bout what they did running NOS. The only descent thing that has the NOS name is the energy drink...........

well id like to have enough power to drive the thing in fifth gear. i like lc's supercharger kit. and they are located right here in town. i think i should free up my exhaust since its the original the cat is probably plugging up.

If you've got oversized tires, I'd suggest gearing first.

Re-gear the diffs to get power, or swap in a bigger engine

This is one thing toyota really biffed it on... the power/weight ratio! Untill the 5vzfe came out at least...

To be honest, the power (lack thereof more accurately) doesn't bother me too much. I don't mind puttering along to my fishing hole, my dog sticking her nose out the window, listening to Brad Paisley, or or some other country radio doing 80km/h in the slow lane...I end up getting 26mpg.
