22re hesitation
this is my first post and yes i have searched
im having a problem with my 1992 22re the engine is from oregon engine rebulders and has 8000 miles on it.it runs great but after it gets to operating temp and i shut it off
(like to go it to the store)ill start it up go to take off and it will hesitate or bogg for like 10 seconds and then go fine till i shut it off again it has a 261 enginebuilder cam pacesetter complete exhaust
new cap rotor and wires,tps checks out ok,new air filter
im at a loss please help thanks

Im having a similar problem with mine... starts fine cold, then shakes after I restart it hot, but clears out after you give it some gas... Real strange... Im gonna be pulling the throttle body off and cleaning it along with all vac lines.. It could be a whole bunch of different stuff though...EGR, temp sensors, leaking fuel injectors,... Etc.. If I figure it out ill let you know... Please do the same..

My guess is the coolant temp sensor. It's up to you to figure out which 1 of the 3 (or 2 I forget how many that thing has) that sends it's signal to the ECU. If that thing is just a little off on it's temperature reading you will get symptoms like this as the ecu doesn't know exactly how much fuel to send to the engine. Also make sure you have no bubble in the coolant system as it will create a similar experience if the coolant is not 100% full.
