just bought this gorgeous 1990 2dr 4runner with new engine for $4k

 

I also have a 1990 Black V6 3.0 4WD 4Runner!! I love it. Your looks to be in great shape- may I ask how many miles you had when you bought it? currently?

When I bought mine in June it had about 192,000 miles on it. The engine was completely rebuilt somewhere around 190,000. I use it as my daily driver and I haven't had a single problem with it. I'm around 201,000 now and I can't imagine wanting anything else.

Nice dude! Looks just like mine though mine doesn't run as good hah the water pump is done, leaks oil, heats up if it idles for more than 5mins and the power steering doesn't work lol but it still gets me too work and it has no problem reving too 5000rpm :O oyah it has 356km original. I love it! Keep the 2doors alive!

I have a 90' 2 door also. 3.0 v6/5 spd. 4x4. 260k..... might be for sale soon? I have 3 other toys now. 80 rolling chassis 20r 4 spd 4x4 on 35's. A pristine one owner 95 2wd 3.0/auto. And my 83 turd crawler on tons,pane,duals and 42 swampers.

I have done several searches. So how many 2 door second gens made it in the US? Mine is a 90 4x4 3slow 5 speed with the shift on fly case. Flanges on hubs. Has a/c rear heat! etc. Mines a turd has 275k and keeps going....
