talked with these guys online for a while. ive been selling my ABS tailgate panels and ABS door panels for a while now. he asked me to sell my stuff on his site after I confronted him about it. I feel that he took my ideas and copied them, and I only say that because of his timing, and the hardware and thickness and material is all identical to mine. I also posted mine on here in my build thread a while back. appreciate any of you coming to me if you did. I have sold quite a few door panel cards and tailgate panels. I have 1st gen pickup door cards on the way, and fzj80 tailgate panels coming soon as well. im looking into the rear 4runner panels but theyre a little more intricate. this guy told me he was adjust his price if it made me happy, and I don't have a patent but I did feel it was stepping on my toes a little.

I don’t see what the big deal is. If you look you can find threads of multiple people making these panels out of ABS in 2015 and earlier. So unless that’s you I would say you ripped the idea off from them. This isn’t an original idea on anyone’s part and there are plenty of sales to go around. And as for a patent there is no possible way you would get one for a flat cutout. It’s just a flat cutout not and intricate bumper or roof rack to say the least.

I prefer keycw's panels, and the main reason is he created a resto thread with a lot of invaluable info.
Ocean’sRunner has 8 posts and has created 5 threads at the moment, 4 of them are about selling those panels, he comes to make money and gives nothing to the forum.

Don't worry keycw and thank you very much for sharing your resto thread with us.

I have one of those panels and I like it so I just wanted to share them. I don’t stand to make money. For your information.

You did start spamming the forum with your posts though......

Usually that isn't considered in good taste.....

Sure. You have created 5 threads at the moment, 4 of them are about selling those panels, and 8 pics of your truck are in their webshop promoting their (read "your") panels.

I prefer keycw's panels.

not making a big deal about it. forum drama is lame and noone wants to read it. is this your "shop"? you just seem a little upset for a random person that bought one of their panels. I have had about a dozen people DM me asking about "my new shop" thinking this was me.

I prefer keycw's panels, they are perfect, his attention to detail is amazing, look at them here:

and the attached pic is the one you sell Ocean’sRunner , with all due respect, it looks like it was cut with a kitchen knife:

As I say, don't worry keycw

Hey keycw, I’d like to order two of the door panels and a tailgate cover from you. I just joined the site today and it won’t let me send you a PM but let me know how to buy them if you’re still making them. Thanks!

nope, ran it and had some fun for a while but overall got tired of dealing with a**holes too entitled to wait for usps to deliver a home made product. Some dude name Freddy pretty much copied my stuff panel for label though and they seem to be good quality he is on most of the FB pages for these trucks.
