1st gen.22re clutch query

So the 87rnnr is getting a complete lower rebuild. You may have read my last thread about connecting rod issues???
Long story short, LOWER ENDS SUCK! Point being...
While the motor is out, I figure I'll do the clutch and I was hoping their might be some tried and true clutch opinions out there...

I used a normal parts store one, and am already in need of another, but many hard wheeling trips when clutch slippin was needed were on that clutch.... I've heard that factory clutches are pretty good, but dont have a personal opinion.

OEM. That's all you need for daily driving and light offroading. Here's one on ebay:

Anyone know the difference between the gas turbo clutch and standard? Difference in 89 up clutch kit? I'm guessing that the tranny spline changed but pressure plates should interchange.

Thanks for the heads up. $59$ is way better than $200$
Never done any of this before, but in a strange way, I've been wanting to...Can't wait.

best of luck... remember you might want to think about having the flywheel resurfaced while your changing the clutch.

the 3.0 clutch fits into the housing and is an upgrade. That is what I run. They actually did taht from the factory after 93 or something like that.

Deathrunner, did you swap in the 3.0 flywheel too, or just the clutch?
