I have a 93 toyota pickup with 22re. I'm frustrated trying to get this truck to start. I've replaced battery, starter, ignition switch, and complete steering column. Still wont crank turning key...headlights, dashlights, radio or nothing comes . I installed a push button and it cranks fine, but even with it installed I have no running lights or instrument panel lights... bout ready to give up but something s telling me it's simple right there in my face. Any suggestion(s) of what I'm missing.? Please help!!!!!!

 

Before throwing parts at the problem .

You either seem to have a poor ground problem.

one or more of the fusible links are open

Is there any history here??

Bought the truck in a non running condition??

It just quit one day and has not started since.

Doing electrical work and something shorted??

The fact it cranks with a push button and you have no headlights leads me to think open circuit protection. Now just what caused this is the question ???
