most likely that means you have a seized caliper..

When my dad bought the 4runner i have now the caliper on the left side seized and it pulled to the right.. We replaced both about two years ago and i still on the same break pads

Nope no noise, just pulls right under braking. Sounds like a seized (open) caliper on the left side is the most likely cause, makes sense. Thanks macrunner for the help and you too red3.slow

yeah...that would mean you need to replace the caliper. its better to fix the real problem than to just replace some parts and mask it for a while. when you put on new pads, it is allowing the piston to not travel as far, so it will work...for a while. you should replace that caliper as soon as possible. "micky mousing" your vehicle is no way to live!!! lol...good luck!

My 94 did the same thing.. Calipers from like AutoZone aren't too bad with a core. Something you may want to try before that is taking the pads out, pushing the pistons back in with a C-clamp and then pumping the brakes to push them out. Just be careful though with no pads as you can overextend the pistons. Work them back and forth a few times. Sometimes that will get you by for a while. From what I hear you can rebuild them yourself too but for the cost it's way easier to just get some new ones and bolt em on. Good luck!
