1990 4runner 2 door: Door swap
I just picked up a 1990 4runner 2 door and my questions is how hard would it be to swap in power windows and locks?
To me it would seem to be best to just find two complete doors and swap them in. I think i read somewhere that the 2door models are different when it comes to the front doors, someone else said the truck doors are the same. Does anyone have any information on this?
Once i found the correct doors i would assume i would need all the wiring. How hard would it be to make work with the current setup?
Thanks in advance to anyone who has information or ideas on what to do.

I don't have much concrete to add. But it's very common, especially on vehicles of that vintage, to have the wiring there for all options. I added cruise control to my '92 Celica, and it was 100% plug and play. Just a matter of finding all the components (switches, relays, etc.)
When I parted out an '86 4runner SR5 a couple years ago, it looked like there were a lot of unused wires between the door and body, I suspect they were for power locks/mirrors/windows, which that truck didn't have.
