my truck wont start so the first thing i did was pull the cel codes by jumping the ports i just want to know if these things are dead will it cause the truck not to start i got 3 problems

1. THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL--OPEN OR SHORT IN TPS SIGNAL

2.IDL (tps) CONTACTS OFF, NEUTRAL START SWITCH OFF, A/C SWITCH "ON" SIGNAL TO ECU

WITH DIAGNOSTIC CHECK CONNECTOR SHORTED

3.INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL--OPEN OR SHORT IN INTAKE AIR TEMP. SIGNAL

please help me the codes again are 24, 41,51 thanks if any one can help it would be great

 

I got the same code 51 on 88pickup too. I ended up finding out that the IDL-E2 within the TPS wasn't working. I've still to find out what caused it to fail but I'll try to trace the wires back to the ECU & do a voltage check & post the results, if it helps.
