Do like some of us did and either buy a new one or off Ebay.

Since Helm Inc bought the rights for Toyota Factory Manuals they have had their lawyers going after online copies with $$$$ in their eyes.

That is why they are all going away.

That brings up the question, I have a factory service manual for the 1985 Truck & 4Runner, how much is compatible with an 87 4x4?

If you go to techinfo.toyota.com, you can go to the TIS section and sign up for a subscription which will allow you to download the pdf's of all of the factory service manual sections, plus service bulletins and other stuff. A two day subscription costs $15.00 and you can download as much stuff as you have time for.

It's a bit of a hassle because you have to manually download each section as a separate file (unless you are a clever html programmer), but it's a clean and legal way to get what you want, straight from the official source. I'm not sure how far they go back; I know at least as far as 1990.

Awesome!!! I will look into it after I get the truck, praying the current truck owner will have manuals to sell with truck.
