wheel speed=mph with 100% traction i agree, All I was saying is that I don't really think you would need them spinning more than the equivilant of 30mph. I have run a strait line mud run, but around here they are WAY TOO DEEP to run 4h, 4l 2nd and 3rd mabye, I am not sure a stock yota could float on a long run, you need HUGE tires and LOTS OF HP.

It will be $960 installed? If thats not installed you're gunna have to pay to have someone install it unless you know someone who will do it or can do it yourself, however, it is not something a noob is going to be able to do himself unfortunately, they must be installed correctly or

If you were in Colo, there is a guy who will set up your diffs for 150 each.

Thats about what I get charged. Might as well go ahead and gear it while your having that ARB installed you're right there anyways.

k im pretty sure i know what the crossmember is now. the bar that holds up the tranfer case in the front? if so i think thats why the CV broke cuz the boltthat holds the crossmber up on the left side is missing

lol what you are thinking is the transfer case is the front differential...your transfer case is behind your transmission and the crossmember is what is holding your transfer case and transmission up...a bolt missing in the front section is not good at all lol your a arms which are the suspension arms of the IFS are probably loose or something and your cv broke

The transfer case is what you shift to go into 4lo etc...the differentials are part of the axles...

get that front axle support fixed, might be tourquing your front end too much. I run 4.56 stock gears with my 33's but there only 10.5(9.3) wide. First and second are more usable with the 33's and I get a little lower cruising rpm but I will regear the t-case because 4L 1st isn't low enough for me.
