Window trim question

Is there a good way to fix this?

I just noticed it the other day. Tried to push it back down but it still pops back up after a while.

Maybe clip holing it broke off from the adhesive. Chrome trim sucks. I removed mine. Will fill gap with silicone. See my thread why, and how I plan to fix it.

yep ... there is another "flat clip" that is "taped" to the body of the truck . the clip you see in the pic , "clips" into it .. I would think the ketch on the body side clip is warn out or broken .. simple to replace as it is just stuck on with double sided tape included on the clip

probably 20 c to fix

.

stop by an auto glass shop and politely ask about getting it fixed, it should take about 5-10 minutes to have it repaired properly, the cost should be little to nothing. those clips are designed to snap in under the glass and stick to the sealer (before its cured) when the shield is installed.

Sweet, glad to hear it's not a huge pain. I had thought about pulling it off and siliconing the gap, but I'm not sure if I like the chrome or want to lose it yet.

Hopefully I'll get a chance this week to see a glass shop!

Thanks!
