weber adapter plate which one

I just got 1985 Toyota mud truck, with no history from previous owner. bought a weber carb w/adapter on ebay. adapter doesn't fit . bought a transdapt from summit same as the other one. the intake manifold passenger side bolt pattern has a 2 7/8 oc bolt spread, drivers side has a 2 1/4 oc bolt spread. the adapter part no is 2181 . the valve cover says 22r, Thanks in advance for any help
