Ways of lifting my yota
I have a 85 pick up with a 6inch leaf spring lift. I'm looking for a way to add another 3 or 4 inches with out using blocks or a body lift. I have blocks in the rear now, but would like to eliminate blocks all together. Any recommendations? Cheaper the better!
Ive heard of people using Chevy leafs but idk if that's true or not?? I wanna clear 40s with put trimming body
Thanks, anything helps

There is no good or cheap way to get 10 inches of lift. Also, driving with 40's will suck with stock gears. You're going to need 5.29 gears and dual t-cases or low low t-case gears. Good luck, and hope you find something!

I would still definitely recommend regearing, but you don't Have to, just know that with anything bigger than 33's it will be pretty much unusable on the road, but it will be somewhat acceptable on the trails....just go for the 5 in. springs to get a 6 inch lift.

10" of lift? Do a ruf and ford or chevy swap and use lift springs instead of stock springs.and Or use drop hangers and shackles. Full size axles would be a good idea to
If I remember right regular ruf and chevy/ford swap gets you about 4"so use a 6" lift spring and that should put you near where you want.( research it don't go off my memory my memory blows)
