my 6.5" Jensen's fit pretty nice..
theres also a pot in the dash..kinda under the steering wheel for a 4" speaker on each side of the truck..
theres speaker holes behind the plastic under the "ext cab" windows..
my single 12" xplod and kicker amp fit behind the seats pretty nice too..i got a very slim sub box though..

i dont think so..i believe the holes under the back windows are for like 5.25's or 6.5's..
of course if ya want to make em work (and it would look kool) you could cut and make the 6x9's fit

Yes the whole area front of the window is empty so you don't have to worry about clearance of the window moving down and hitting your big magnets. Better sound than under the dash. Especially on the passenger side with the blower motor right behind the spreaker location.

I cut a 6.5 componet set in the doors of my 86 extra cab. and 6.5 in the rears and then i mounted a 4 channel amp behind the driver seat. then a 10 inch sub behind the passanger seat. the speakers in the dash sucked and the rears have a poor angle. The cool thing is that crossover has a passive speaker output to run the rears. and i use the rear channel to run the sub. is sound good and has great volume to compensate for the tire roar.

you can fit a double din i use to have a kenwood double din touch screen it was a little over kill but it was cool and the ipod intergration was great. if you still have the factory brackets that were attached to the factory radio. they will attach to any after market radio. the term used for that is called iso mount. the aftermarket radio will come with proper length screws for it. and you can pick up a harness to adapt the wires over and a pocket to fill in the empty space or you can mount a cb under your radio and it looks cool.
