too tall: will a 6'2" driver fit a single cab?

I have thought about dropping the floorboards 2or3 inches it would have to help, wondering if anyone has tried this.

Haven't done it in a first gen, but i did make a custom floor at work in a tube chassis car. I've considered doing the same thing to my truck, but it was a lot of work to make a weather tight floor.

I'm 6'8" 240 lbs, and have an 84 single cab and I fit fine. Gotta figure a good way to get in and out and I wouldn't take it cross country but you should be just fine man.

I’m 7 foot so I wouldn’t fit at all?
