1985 4Runner 22re w/ manual transmission
I just had Marlin 4.7 gears installed in my t-case and am now trying to connect the t-case to the transmission but it won't line up. The 4WD shift rod coming out of the front of the t-case is hitting the transmission wall. This causes the t-case to be shifted counterclockwise and 1/8 inch and the bolt holes won't line up. Also the t-case will then not shift at all. Any suggestions? I have attached some picks to hopefully help.

 

I have an 85 yota truck that I just traded my runner for and after a day of driving it, It will no longer move. I drove it up a steep grade and after about 5 miles it will no longer drive. It goes into gears without the clutch pushed in at all and doesn't grind. Even when in 4 it doesn't go anywhere, if some one on yota tech could help me out asap I would appreciate it.

 

Most likely a dead clutch. Marlin clutch kits are awesome.

Less likely, a broken input shaft on transmission, but I presume you didn't hear any grenading before it quit? Input shaft breaking isn't common and should make a nice, loud noise....
