on your steering?? or on your steering wheel??

if it sounds like metal on metal rubbing in the steering..its likely your steering stops..i grease mine every now and then..and it stops the noise..

could it be your steering wheel rubbing on the plastic steering column cover?

Where is the sound coming from, as in at the wheel, in the column inside the cab or outside the cab?

I had one doing that one time, I pulled the steering wheel, and greased the horn contact on the back of the steering wheel....fixed it!
