Steering shaft compression

Steering shaft compression
Hey Guys, I've searched and cant find an answer. I am replacing the seal in the front of my IFS steering box. I cant get the shaft to compress off the box. I have loosened both clamps and the one closest to the firewall wont budge. I hosed it with PB blaster and let it sit over night w/o success. Any other ideas? Do I have to take the whole thing off?
Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving!

[QUOTE=85TurboRunner;52002759]The steering shaft doesnt really compress. You should just have to remove the two bolts that connect the shaft to the steering box. Then it should just come apart.[/QU
