Steering shaft compression

Hey Guys, I've searched and cant find an answer. I am replacing the seal in the front of my IFS steering box. I cant get the shaft to compress off the box. I have loosened both clamps and the one closest to the firewall wont budge. I hosed it with PB blaster and let it sit over night w/o success. Any other ideas? Do I have to take the whole thing off?

Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving!

The steering shaft doesnt really compress. You should just have to remove the two bolts that connect the shaft to the steering box. Then it should just come apart.
