Seat questions

Im looking for a new back seat and i have a chance to grab a 90's back seat will it fit or do i have to mod it or the brackets to fit it. Any pics?

Well all you have given is a range years that the new seat is coming from. So give some vehicle info and maybe you'll get some help.

sure a 90s seat will fit....into a 90's vehile... What are you trying to put it in??

This is how flame threads get started please answer him if you have an answer. Remember we are in 84-85 trucks and 4runners. The only logical back seat option he could be talking about would be into an 84-85 4runner.

Not true. Just yesterday, I saw two posts concerning a custom 85 pickup, it was a doublecab, and he was asking backseat questions to, because he had a bench seat and was talking about FJ80 Jump seats back there. So there ARE other possibilities. I wasnt trying to flame, just curious

Well, in the profile, it lists and 87 longbed (pickup) as a project vehicle. Of course there would be no rear seats in that. Perhaps the original poster could clarify what vehicle is being referred to in the question.

I have never tried putting 2nd gen 4Runner rear seats into a 1st gen 4Runner, so no idea if that would work.

Im tryin to put a 2nd gen seat in a 1st gen...Or a grey rear seat for it from a first gen....thats like impossible to find here.

i was going to try it with my parts rig but i just don't like the 2nd gen back seats they are shaped different.
