Replacement Floor Pans

I have seen several posts in the past about replacing the floor pans in 4runners. I spent a lot of time trying to find these parts myself and this is the only site i found that actually lists these and gives prices.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...=2&catalogid=2

I have not called them to verify availabilty yet as it is only 5AM on the West coast. I will be calling them today to check on this. Hope this helps and hope they can actually get the parts.

These are a lot higher than I was hoping but they should be premolded and direct fit. These will solve my worst body issues.

I plan on doing the outer body panels with fiberglass from Slackers' shop. Now the biggest issue is cash. Who wants to front the new guy a few grand??

I cut part of the floor pan out of a 1st Gen Truck, spent about $15 and used these( bought them at home deport for less than $100):

Friends have bought entire 4Runner bodies for less than $250. I guess that depends on what part the country you live in. Try Craigslist. That just seems pretty spendy.

Now Corey's fiberglass is definately worth the $$$.

Has anyone purchased things from that website in the first post? They seem to have alot of good items but its not vary descriptive about the parts. Its seem that they would call you after you order and say sorry we are out of that item would you like something different?

So how does the floor from a PU match up? I have access to a welder and plasma cutter. One of the worst parts on my runner is below the floor on the drivers side behind the 1/4 panel. It is gone.

I made my floor panels out of sheet metal i cant remember what gauge i used but it only cost me about 50$ at a local shop and about a days worth of fabrication and welding.

sorry, that was for my '81. I would expect that the floor of a 2nd gen truck would be very similar to a 4Runner at least cab-forward, maybe. My point was to try a Junk Yard for a donor floor section.

Edit: Maybe MSR will cut and ship what you need: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f109...runner-168549/

those floor pans are NOT avaliable ... rears yes , but NO fronts ..
if you check .. fronts are NOT .

once apon a time I was going to produce them (stamped steel) .. but there really was no interest ... or should I say not enough interest in the cost to produce .

I'm looking for these too (front pans that is), and the link you posted WVtoyjon is for the rear of the 4Runner, and stops where the rear floor steps down and the rear seat bottoms bolt on.

I've got some friends that work at Keystone & just emailed them to see if they can get them. >keeping my fingers crossed< but as Slacker stated it may be a lost cause.

I've already spent a day replacing parts of the driver side & tubbing the firewall for larger tires, but my passenger side it waaay worse & a full pan would save alot of time!

I'll report back if I find something, otherwise if you don't hear from me, they're not available...
