Removing an AC system

I have an 85 that has a complete ac system that is not hooked up, no belt, and was thinking of getting rid of it. Is this difficult?, worth doing? or just a PITA?

It's a big PITA and not worth wasting your time over IMO..just leave it there and forget it

I don't have a/c, I have 2 hundred. 2 windows down, one hundred kilometers per hour. Always keeps me cool! Plus the open window is the right height for my arm to rest on!

Just tear out the ac radiator and condensor thingy,, keep the compressor for onboard air.
