Rear Window Won't Work

1984 4Runner. My rear window won't go up or down and whenever I push the switch this grey box located inside of my backseat panel makes a clicking sound (attached picture). I checked the fuses, wiring, and that switch that is pushed down by the top but nothing seems to be wrong. Any suggestions?

Are all of the bolts in the top ?, there is a safty switch on the left side about 3 or 4 bolts back from the front, if the bolt is missing the window won`t work. You can also directly wire the rear window motor to a 12 volt source to see if its good.

Make sure the tail gate is closed/latched all the way. If one side isn't closed all the way it will break the circuit. Make sure the wiper are is at the top position.

Yeah, all the bolts are on the top; especially the one that pushes the button down. Still nowhere with the problem though.

See below:

Clicking relay indicates relay coil is actuating (from switch input), but contacts are not passing current to the motor.

move the rear window wiper above the little stopper thing and see if it works then. i had the same problem. it was just because the truck thought the wiper was down on the window.
