You'll like it.. I've been running mine for a year. I also run synthetic (Royal Purple) and it seems to make the locker work much smoother.

I ordered it from the only site I'm aware of:

www.aussielocker.com
I had some problems ordering the first time due to a server upgrade on Aussies end and Bill noticed that my order had gone uncompleted and sent me an e-mail assuring they would get me taken care of...impressive since I hadn't spent any money at that point. The cost was $260.00 shipped.

I've got Aussies, F&R. They work great! Actual 4 wheel drive is soooooooooo much better than 2 wheels getting power in stock form.

Yup. I wouldn't worry to much about the rear locker in the snow. It just takes some driving in it to get used to it, so I've heard (although I've never actually driven in the snow with mine). The front is a different story. There are mixed feelings about having a full time locker on the snow covered streets.

You could, that may help. I've got a square shaft so anything over 20mph is tough for me

Is it really possible to only lock 1 hub? How does that work?

I wanted to get Aussies for my rig, but they don't make them for the V6 third members so I have Lockrights front and rear.

dj,

yeah its possible. if you have manual hubs, just lock one side and keep the other side unlocked. it'll pull to one side a bit but if you get used to it, not a big deal.

If you have manual hubs you just lock one wheel and leave the other unlocked...if you have auto hubs, no you can't leave only one unlocked.

I have manual hubs thankfully, so what's the purpose of that? Is it so your lockers don't engage full time? Won't that mess you your diff?

No problems with your diff...

It allows you to have better traction. If you were in 4wd with the front locked then the front would be squirrely, because under power the front would slide around (on snow or ice). With only one front wheel getting traction it won't slide but will provide extra grip...

Hope that helped.
