need your help with some fiberglass work!

so i started cutting out rust from my rear wheel wells. originally i thought it was just going to be one small rust hole. as you can see i had to keep cutting.

what i need is some tips on how to fill this with either fiberglass or bondo. its about a cm between the tub and the body and about an inch and a quarter tall

Most people would weld in new metal. If you don't have that option I guess you would have to build it up and spend many hours sanding it out. That's a lot of filler.

If your just filling the hole with filler your wasting your time and money. The filler will crack, hold moisture, cause more rust and then fall out leaving you with a bigger problem then you started with (get it...bigger hole...haha) Like said above, to do it properly/well you need to weld a peice of metal into the hole and repair from there. Theres a million ways to do a quick fix but it will always come back to bite you. Then you have to do it again. If you want some quick fixes that will work for longer that most other let me know and I'll post up a few. I work in an auto body shop so I have a pretty good idea of what will work.

Uhhhh.
Okay well, in my opinion, you shouldn't have cut off the edges of your bed.
You would have had a better chance leaving them in place, cleaning them up, and then loading up with some fiberglass.

Your best bet at this point, unless your a professional sheetmetal man, would be to find a bed with good fenders and cut em out and weld onto your bed

Bondo will DEFINITELY NOT WORK.

In my opinion, i would find some way to weld parts of the pieces you cut out back in, or make new pieces of the lip that folds under into the wheel-well.
Then, i'd form metal to weld in.

You will be able to use some filler putty to smooth out the body-work
