need help with efi

need help with efi

i bought a 85 project truck, the guy i got it from swapped a 22re in to it. but did not finish it, i am havin some problems getting it to run, it will run on starting fluid but not with just fuel. also i hade to put in a inline fuel pump because of the fuel cell in the flat bed. any ideas would help i made some pic to show what is goin on, and the fuel pump is 40 psi

The last picture is the cold start injector.
Are the injectors plugged in and getting electricity?

they r pulged in, but i will check if they have power right now.

can you hear the injectors firing? sure the fuel pump is running? did you happen to unplug anything in the engine compartment, might check the solenoid resistor its a little silver metal box that's mounted on the pass. side inner fender an has 2 connectors coming out of it that is what actually grounds the injectors so they can fire

Wow nice rig assuming it's the one in your avatar. Kinda sucks to purchase some one else's problem but you gotta do what you gotta do. Sounds like a wiring issue to me so get your ohm meter out and get to testing. Check out 4crawler's site for great info on checking TPS and AFM readings among other things. 40 psi sounds low to me.

i dont know if they r firing , but the pump is running, ya it dose kinda suck but cant pass it up. the things that u will do for a toyota, i will look at that site. i was hoping it wasint prob with the wireing.
