Hello all! I'm new to the forums and I look forward to being a active member in this forum! I'm having issues uploading photos so here's a link to a post I made showing some Pics

I have a lot I need to do, and some stuff I want to do but I have a monthly budget I want to remain in, and this truck will likely be my daily driver (I have a Honda Civic I can fall back on if need be)

Need to do
Change spark plugs and wires
Change the belt that powers the fan and alternator
Change the oil and filter (filter is dated 2014)
Change the coolant. Its turned a weird darkish brown.. probably never been changed.
Change the transmission fluid
Rebuild the carb at some point
Check and change the fuel filter and lines
Possibly drop the fuel tank
Check and adjust the valves
Check the timing chain

Want to do
Install a snow plow on it, I live down a unmaintained road in Oregon and would need a way to plow the road out.
​​​​​​fix the tailgate. It's kinda wonky and doesn't close right
Remove the rust, there's a bad spot near the gas tank and the frame rails are lightly rusted it seems
Fix the exhaust. It's cracked and causing a occasional popping sound.
Paint the exterior. Likely red or blue.
Get new rims or repaint them
Get a spare set of tires before winter (need a set of snow tires)
Install a tow hitch so I can pull a small trailer

Of course I'm going to repair small things as I come across them, but for now I really want to concentrate on making it safe to drive. It's been sitting for a year and had bad gas in it when I received the vehicle. It seems to shift and drive okay though, but I imagine the carbs needs a good cleaning.

If any of you have advice on these vehicles or where you think I should go with this build then let me know! I don't plan to make it a show truck since I do need it for various things around my property including hauling wood, moving gravel, general stuff like that.
