My 1985 4Runner

I just got a 1985 Toyota 4runner. Right now it has 6.5" shackles, pro comp 3" lift springs and shocks. It has 70,000 on a rebuilt 22RE-C. The drivetrain is stock. When I bought it, it had 31" mud tires and I swapped those out with some 33" tires I had on my other 4runner.

Here is a picture of it as it sits right now:

I have bought the following to put on the truck:
4:88 Gears
Aussie Locker for the rear (which was on backorder so I might switch to a Detroit Locker)
Bilstein 5150 Shocks
All-Pro Shock Hoops
All-Pro Offroad Front Bumper
Vortex 10,000lb Winch
Vinyl Flooring (the truck had no flooring in it when I bought it)
Dash Cap

Future Plans:
Rock Sliders
All-Pro Rear Bumper
Alcan 4" Lift Springs
All-Pro 2.5" Longer than stock Greaseable Shackles
Yukon Zip Locker for the front
Repaint the whole truck white
Dual Transfercases
Seat Covers

I just had the truck painted and put on my front bumper and winch. I also decided to go with a detroit no spin locker for the rear.

Looks pinkish/girly. I like it though, I would rock a flat hot pink runner!

Your truck looks great. It doesn't look pink on my screen. I really like your wheels also. Keep up the good work.

Looks great

The pictures are a little over exposed, I took one of them into photoshop and corrected it a bit. Thats a really sharp looking red.

Ok well I have done a bunch to my truck over the last month so let me bring this more current.

After getting it painted I decided it was time to put in the 4.88 gears and the detroit lockers and put in my shocks and shock hoops. I took out the 3rd member and brought my gears and lockers to get them installed at a local shop.

Painted the shock hoops

I decide to go with All Pro 4" leaf springs in front and 6" leaf springs in the rear with 1.5" longer shackles. I ended up pulling the bottom leaf out of the spring pack in the rear to even the truck out. I also got the u bolt flip kit front and rear, extended brake lines, rear shock mounts and front and rear spring hangers all from All Pro. I also bought the hysteer kit from Sky.

Nice and straight. I'm with everyone else on the slight pinkish hue, but it looks good. Nice call on the upgrades thus far, gears, lockers, crossover. Those are all equally important, if you ask me.

Yes. The upper shock mounts are in the stock location. I was noticing that it didn't seem like there was much room for the shocks to travel as well. Is there a way to change the upper shock mount location?
