Forget the sbc idea I just tuned the truck I got it running a steady 6 pounds it hauls ass and runs perfect this weekend my buddy says he wants to race It with a 6.0 power stroke 6 speed we will see who's top dog but for sure worth if new clutch will be in next week

So I raced a lifted king ranch 6.0 power stroke and killed him haha I've been running this set up with no issues and it sounds so cool going down the road everyone turns there head haha

Btw if any one was wondering the truck has 185k miles o the original motor and tranny and when I raced the ford my ur h was letting loose and I was still able to pull the truck is in the shop now getting the new clutch while I'm out of town when I get back I'll post video

so your 300 sounds good , I guess I never thought a 22r could produce that much HP. I thought you were pulling are legs
TURBO UPGRADE: The 22RTE needs forged pistons for any serious performance upgrade. The CT26 Supra Turbo (not the MR2/AllTrac) can be installed with minor fabrication. With boost controller, upgraded fuel delivery, 3" exhaust system, and intercooler- the 22RTE will put out in excess of 350HP, at about 25 psi!
