High pressure steam cleaning

Plan to use a pressure steam cleaner on my 85 22re 4 runner this weekend.

What do I need to do to protect the engine and electronics while cleaning the old runner up.

I figured I would wrap the distributor, coil, and alternator up in trash bags.

Is there any were that water can get into the engine.

Anything else that I need to be careful of?

Just don't soak the electronic bits, I have had direct hose on the distributor, spark plugs, plugs, leads etc and it started and ran fine.
