help with cut-off switches on 85 4runner

so a little over a month ago my truck was stolen, found it 2 weeks later and i want to make sure it does not happen again...

so far i installed a lock on to my center console, and want to put a cut-off to my ignition and my fuel pump and hide them accordingly.

looking to find out what wires i need to hook into, or any others ideas you guys have would be great. thanks!

On my old WRX, I had a kill-switch that was wired into the fog-light button. It was also a response to the car being stolen. That and a detachable steering wheel and I figured I was safe from anything short of a flatbed rolling up and carting the thing off.

Install a relay on the main ECU ground and run a switch to it. Hide the switch wherever you want. No ECU, no lost truck.

You can run a switch between the fuel pump relay and/or the ignition relay. Make sure to put it on the 85/86 terminal side (coil part) voltage will never reach the relay, and wont ever turn it on.
