Got some work done the last few days.
Finally got the used tailgate in and working this week. Started to paint it olive drab like, my other yota ,but decided that I am just going to do the whole truck the original color when it comes time.
But it sure is nice to have the rear window/gate working

I picked up some 138 Toyota paint a few days ago that I had made. The hood needed redone, so I tested it out. I think it turned out pretty nice for a very very non professional job. It is the original color for the truck, which I am going to eventually do the whole thing.

Also removed the stinger today. I never really liked it. I am not against the look/function of it, but just couldnt justify having it on when theres no serious wheeling where I live. Plus I think that it was just a little on the large side.
Let me know what you think. I think the front end looks alot cleaner.

Thanks for looking guys.

Thanks man. The bumper was on the truck when I got it, and I think that it is a custom build. Simply because it does not look like anything else I have seen. If you want, I would gladly take some measurements and more photos if you want.
I really like the look of it. But I think that I am going to integrate a winch mount in there somewhere.

Cut that top bar, add a TG winch cradle with a little cutting and welding, and you would have a winch bumper... Easy-peasey.
Or just add some flat plate off the lower bar, some bracing, etc.

Thats what I was thinking about doing. Getting the winch mount and then retrofitting the bumper onto/around it.

More pics and measurements would be great! I'm looking into making a bumper for the front of mine and this is the cleanest looking aftermarket/homemade one I've seen!
