Thanks @lledwod !

OME goodies have arrived! The plan is to pull a leaf from each pack.

Next up: Gears and Lockers. I'm planning (hoping) to use a 3rd member with the eLocker. Which trucks are the best donor candidates? This is the one time Toyota's reliability works against us... there are so few 4-wheel drive Toyotas abandoned in junk yards.

Hey, I am fixing up my 84 Toyota. I am putting 33 inch tires on it with a 33 inch lift. I got my springs from Alcan springs. They are custom made. You tell them about your truck, Custome bumpers etc., and they make the perfect springs for you. They are pretty fast at responding to your questions. I would recommend checking out their web site and see if this is for you.

Thanks @tillie. Most of the interior stuff is original. I bought the bought the shifter boot on eBay. It's okay. I had to glue the leather to the plastic to keep it in place. I just swapped in the OME system. I only have a couple hundred miles on it, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up pulling a leaf from each pack. She's still sitting up a bit high.

ok. thanks, I have been looking. I have had the interior redone but I am still missing some parts. I like the rims and what you did. I have bought some aftermarket rims that are 17in. I will be putting on 33 inch tires. your ride Hight is not bad. .

Wow. Been a while since I posted. The truck looks exactly the same. But, lots has changed:
- Upgraded the sound system: Sony CarPlay headunit, MB Quartz amp, Kicker 10" sub and 6.5", Kenwood 4"
- OME springs, shocks, etc.
- Eaton eLocker (R) and Aussie locker (F)
- Regeared to 4.88s

And, the big news (for me)... for the first time since the restoration/build the truck went further than the shop (18 miles)! I drove to Alabama - 115 miles each way - to play at the Chocoloco off-road park. The truck did amazingly well. I mean, locked on 33s, weighing 2,800 pounds should do well. Even the road trip was great. I am LOVING this little truck even more now!

Love your truck, I've seen some of your posts on IH8MUD. How was turning on those trails with the Aussie in front? I have an Aussie in the rear, and other than the occasional bang when it slams in, or the clicking in parking lots, I don't mind it....do wish I had selectable in rear.

Thanks! Yeah, I've had a few trucks with automatic lockers like the Aussie in the rear, and you're right - the clicking, an occasional pop, tire chirping is about it.

Since this truck will see only occasional 'wheeling, I definitely wanted a selectable. The front auto locker wasn't bad at all. The truck has selectable/manual hubs (and a transfer case ;-) ), so the front's obviously not an issue daily on the road.

On the trail the only negatives were two things - a bit more work, effort to steer and there is some loss of turning radius - as the truck pushes with that inside tire. BUT, the truck was like driving a tiny Abrahams tank! I just went wherever I pointed it. It was so damn fun.

That Chocoloco looks pretty fun. Maybe 4 or 5 years ago I drove my 4Runner from Ft Lauderdale where I live to Windrock Offroad Park in Tennessee, that was a looong drive, but I had so much fun there at Windrock. We don't have any hills at all here in S FL, I mean 0, so those trails in Windrock blew my mind, but I had 4.7 gears in tcase, and it was just absolutely awesome to never have to touch the brake and let the truck crawl.
