I wonder if someone bypassed the switch what year do you have do you see the cancel switch in your truck

 

This is a problem the truck cranks when you turn the key??

All these vehicles have the safety switch on the pedal upon leaving the dealers lot when new.

Not all of them had the bypass switch on the dash called the Clutch Cancel Switch.

This was one of those protect me from myself things .

If one does not always check that your in neutral before cranking sounds like a personal issue.

Most often this is the first thing to get removed.

 

My 1986 toyota std cab has both switches I would have to say it depends on how you order them
