Well I have the 84 bracket.. which is different then the GM or newer 22re alt..

So if I can can get a stock bracket for cheap I should have a 130 amp alt set up for pretty cheap..

The 130amp alt from AES was $106...
the 80 amp 90 Supra/Cressida one from Autozone was $124 (returning this one)

The rush to get it fixed is over, I borrowed a friends Xtera for the trip to Riverside

well got an alt bracket from a guy here on yota tech...

and its the 84 style... but from a 85...

I ended up buying brackets and wiring from a junk yard..

With my old stock 40 amp when it worked, if I turned anything on like my lights for fan.. the volts would dip.

Now its rock steady, even when I turn everything on.
