Not sure if i have this in the right place. ive tried the search engine

Im looking for aftermarket headlights like the marlin crawlers with the replaceable bulb. i doubt MC manufactures them so wondering if there is a less expensive outlet for these.

I have the Hella E-codes from Susquehanna Motorsports. Ordered housings, 100/80W bulbs and upgraded harness to carry the power since the factory harness is weak. One of the best safety related mods I have done. It was spendy, I think around 300 total, but totally worth the money, IMO....

There are cheaper options out there, depending on your budget and wiring/mounting abilities.

I should mention the possible legal issues. Being a Euro style headlamp, they are not DOT approved, so you can be ticketed for that alone. And they throw light differently than US lenses. More light is put to the right shoulder to help you see signs and critters well ahead of time. And my bulbs are bright, night and day (almost literally) difference versus stock lamps (usually 55/60W). And with proper aiming, I haven't had any issues with oncoming traffic being blinded, and I can still see great.

A bit more money but I love my LED's

I had a set of HID's but unless you do a quality projector conversion the drop in kits are crap IMO.

The headlights we offer are made by VisionX and we chose their brand because 1) they support off roading events and 2) we like how affordable they are for how they are made. They have an aluminum housing that is strong for off roading that also acts as an important heat sink to pull heat away from the bulb providing a longer bulb life. The same goes for their bulbs. They are DOT approved, provide 30% more light output than ordinary H4 bulbs, and have a high quality coating that won't fade out over time. All the VisionX products we've seen have quality in mind.

I know there are cheaper plastic versions on eBay or elsewhere, but the whole reason why we are even offering headlights is so that fellow Rock Crawlers have a choice to support a like-minded store who shares the same passion for wheeling.

...and Marlin needed some new headlights for the Crawler Truck Once a light dies on my own rig I'm switching over to VisionX

Regards,
BigMike

I broke down and got the MC lights. And im glad i did. They are way better than stock, simple to install, and hook right up to the factory harness. Did quite a bit research and all fingers pointed to the vision lights for the same reason. Thanks guys at MC for another quality product!!

Awesome!! Glad you also like them and thank you for the business!

After I replied to this thread I realized I can run the square versions in my MR2 as well, so I plan to go that route as well once one of my current sealed lights dies.
