Just a sanity check, if you have one, make sure that you set the timing with the vacuum advance hose off...

@se7nine appreciate it man ill let you know. By the way went to go take my cat off and the fricken nuts are stripped! So I got a gnarly exhaust leak lol. So I gotta cut the bolts and get new ones.
@jaskotmb wjere would that be if I had it? I'm pretty sure I don't though but it never hurts to check!

Timing advance on the RE should be controlled by the ECM. Carbed motors will have the manual vacuum advance on the distributor.

Yeah if you have a 22RE you shouldn't have it; a small diaphragm with 2 hoses coming out on the front of the distributor. Front one is vac adv.
