Sounds very suspicious... How do you even know he OWNS the thing?!

I wouldn't buy it if I were you. No title, no VIN, you'll never be able to register that thing.

ok for the update its not stolen
i found the vin plate on the frame ran it on carfax and came up clean
it came up as a 85 deluxe
i called to dmv just to make sure it wasent stolen came out good. the truck was last reg in a town north of sacramento, that confermd the the guy bought it from, carfax said it failed smog and then the same day it passed, and while looking at the truck there where new parts on it like cap, rotor, plugs, air filter
and finaly the mileage added up.

so all i needed from the seller was a statement of facts stating where and when he bought it, and a bill of sale, then i need to take it to a chp office and have it inspected
so here are some pics

That is an awesome tow rig...Way cool with the lift and bigger mud tires. I might want to find one some day and do same thing and make a camper/tow rig. Is it a diesel? Was it origanally a 4x4 or did you do you convert it to a
4x4?
