84 Pickup

Just got a 1984 Pickup. It's got 22r with 220k miles. It's a 5 speed and everything works good. Major problem with it is the rust in the bed and on the cab.

Just wanted to hear your thoughts and comments.

Thanks

Cool truck. Would be a good trail rig for you since you don't have to baby it due to body damage already present.

Just went wheelin for the first time with the truck at hollister. It was pretty fun only had some trouble when I tried to go through the mud pit. Made it about 3/4 of the way. Other than that had a lot of fun.

LMAO..my truck gets dirtier than that in 2wd...but nice for wheelin for the first time..lol

today i had fun just flexing out in some ditches..lol although in one ditch my driver side rear tire was about 4ft off the ground.......ya..it kinda freaked me out..so i didnt get out of the truck to take a pic..lol..

so now with that little excursion..i have probably started my life as a trail rig more than a mud rig..so i'll probably see some rocks in the future..lol

It would have gotten muddier if there was actually mud. The mud pit was the only spot with actual mud and not just muddy water.

Yeah that mud was hella thick though. I bet that chevy was sad he made it the shortest of everyone. lol

Beds were made in California I believe and put on when the trucks came into port so they all rust out. You'll have to fix it, swap it or flat bed it.

I got an 84 with a New carb from Summit and it works great.

Nice truck.

Yeah rust is always a problem when you live by the ocean. Probably gonna try to find a bed somewhere since this one is almost beyond repair.
