22re bolt hole question!!!!!!

22re bolt hole question!!!!!!

Does this hole hold anything in place or is it just thier im putting my oil pan back on my 22re and I thought i was missing something i cant find anything on it so what do you guys think

I just had the pan off my 22RE and I don't remember if mine has that hole, or not.

That hole is not threaded, is it???

There are two sump pickup locations in the 2xr series.

In addition to the one you have provided a picture for there is also on that sits directly over the position of your tube holder. It uses this forward hole to secure the pick up tube and mounts it's stand offs where your hold down is (just aft of the galley plug).
