22R Maintenance Question

Ok.. Ive owned fuel injected engine vehicles for my entire driving life. I'm not too experienced with carbeurators or specific adjustments with them. I know generally how they work but..

Can you guys give me some general advice on maintaining and using the 22R engines? Are there any special requirements during cold weather or hot weather? Anything I should or should not do?

Thanks

I know that it's really important the keep the valves adjusted, the timing correct, and the carb adjusted. If you do those 3 things the engine will run good for a long time.

If you need the periodicity for those (and if you want an 85 FSM) let me know. I found a pdf copy on the internet.
