1985 4Runner Wheel Bearing Change

I just got new tires on my 1985 4Runner SAS and I was told that my left wheel bearing needs to be changed. I tried searching for some good threads but didn't find to much. Anyone have any links or direction? Also they quoted me $300 for them to do it; is that a good price? If not what is typical price for a rear wheel bearing change?

Sounds somewhat high, especially if only one bearing. Maybe pull the axle at have a shop press off the old one and press on a new one for you or see below:
