v6 radiator in first gen.

so i was wondering if that would drop right in or not. my radiator took a dump on me so i guess its the excuse to upgrade. i been doing research and i heard that the 3 core rad. is the one to look for. i was just wondering if anyone has put one in a first gen. ive read about people putting them in second gens but there body style is different and thats what they were found in anyway, so not to sure if they would fit. any help would be much appreaciated.

I'm not sure about it dropping right in. I'm sure its a little bigger than the one thats meant to go in your truck. As far as it working with your motor, though, I would have to say that if the hose sizes are the same diameter, and you have a manual transmission, you'd be okay on that end.

I don't blame you there, especially after spending 3 hours laying on the concrete driveway doing wiring on my truck. Sucked. Even if the radiator was compliant with your motor (22R I'm guessing), I'm gonna bet that there's a very small chance that its gonna bolt right in place where the old one was. Why do you need the extra size of a V6 rad?

any problems with the install, other than the "fits like a glove" feeling of working under the hood of a Toyota?
