So I decided to do a toggle swich and push button ignition due to my ignition switch chills on the floor because its too small to fit the new colum (I did a newer toyota interior swap so there different). I got the accessory toggle to work and the starter button to work. I found out how to make the guages work but does anyone know what the solid black wire is coming from the ignition switch? Due to the color I would guess ground, but I'm second guessing myself and I would like to make sure. Any ideas?

Try a test light or volt meter to see if it is energized or if there is continuity between it and the ground of the vehicle.
